Translational Tobacco Reduction Research Program (T2R2) Enhances the health and well being of youth by reducing tobacco, alcohol and other drug use as well as promoting healthy living.

Valerie is the Assistant Director of the EOCU. Valerie completed her graduate training in Applied Social Research at West Virginia University. She has extensive experience in community health-related research and evaluation projects within the state. Valerie manages the day-to-day operations of the EOCU and serves as a liaison between the Tobacco Prevention Program within the WV Bureau for Public Health, its contractors, other partners, and the EOCU. As the mother of three busy girls, Valerie spends much of her free time at her daughters' sporting events, dance classes, and music lessons. She also enjoys hiking with her husband and children.
