Translational Tobacco Reduction Research Program (T2R2) Enhances the health and well being of youth by reducing tobacco, alcohol and other drug use as well as promoting healthy living.

Kim is an Educational Psychologist and a Robert C. Byrd Associate Professor of Community Medicine at West Virginia University. With a focus on population-based research, Kim has extensive experience in alcohol, tobacco, and other drug intervention studies and program and system's evaluation research in school-, community-, and clinic-based settings. Her research has impacted policy and practice at state and national levels, particularly among high risk children and adolescents. One of Kim's programs, Not On Tobacco, has received numerous awards and recognitions. The N-O-T program was adopted as the American Lung Association's teen smoking cessation program, and is being used across the US and in Europe to help teens stop smoking.
