Translational Tobacco Reduction Research Program (T2R2) Enhances the health and well being of youth by reducing tobacco, alcohol and other drug use as well as promoting healthy living.

Melissa is a Research Program Coordinator in the Translational Tobacco Reduction Research (T2R2) program within the Department of Community Medicine. She graduated from West Virginia University with a Master’s degree in Communication Studies. With a focus on tobacco cessation and youth, Melissa conducts research for the West Virginia Prevention Research Center’s (WVPRC) CORE Research Project “Quit & Fit” to develop and test the effectiveness of a physical activity module for the Not On Tobacco (N-O-T) program, directed the development of the N-O-T program Web site and will examine the usability of the site, and will be the Project Director for the new WVPRC CORE Research Project concerning N-O-T dissemination.
